Join our dynamic team as a **Senior Compliance Officer** within the Group Compliance Office, a pivotal part of our organisation dedicated to supporting strategic projects on regulatory fronts and overseeing the management of compliance risks. The Group Compliance team plays a crucial role in enabling business growth while ensuring adherence to the highest standards of regulatory compliance. Our global Compliance Monitoring Programme is designed to maintain a robust control environment, safeguarding the organisation against compliance risks and fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.
**Day-to-Day Responsibilities**
Strategic Regulatory Projects (70%)
- Lead and/or provide compliance support to strategic regulatory projects (e.g. DORA, NIS2, PSD3/PSR1, Move to Google Cloud Platform, AI Act) aimed at enabling business growth and innovation.
- Develop and implement compliance frameworks and policies that support strategic initiatives and ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
- Act as a liaison with project governance bodies, ensuring timely and effective communication and negotiation to facilitate business objectives.
- Monitor and analyse regulatory trends and changes, advising multiple stakeholders, including senior management, on potential impacts and opportunities for the organisation.
Compliance Monitoring Programme (30%)
- Contribute to the Compliance Monitoring Programme to ensure ongoing adherence to internal policies (Payment regulations, Data Privacy, Ethics/ABC, Financial Crime Compliance) and external regulations.
- Conduct regular testing and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of compliance controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address compliance gaps and enhance the overall control environment.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on compliance-related matters, fostering a culture of compliance throughout the organisation.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on compliance activities and findings, presenting them to senior management and relevant committees.

**Required Experience**
- Extensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks, compliance practices, and industry standards.
- Proven experience in leading strategic regulatory projects and initiatives.
- Strong understanding of compliance monitoring techniques and methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience in change management, with the ability to effectively implement and manage change within an organisation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both external and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in conducting testing and risk assessments, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Collaborative and results-driven mindset, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Consulting experience from a top-tier company in the compliance domain is a definite plus.
- Project management skills are a plus.
**Profile**
- University degree in Law, Business, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive results.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory;
- additional language skills are an asset.
