**Airbus Helicopters **is looking for a **Rotor System Stress Engineer (f/m) **to join our Design Office based in **Le Bourget **, France.
The job holder will be part of a team which is in charge of analyzing rotor blades and composite rotor parts for different helicopters of the AH fleet.
Your mission will consist of performing fatigue calculations and defining static and fatigue tests on composite dynamic systems parts.

**Your challenges**:
- Sizing, analysis and substantiation of components of the dynamic system, taking into account weight and performance aspects
- Static analysis and fatigue calculation for metallic and composite parts by analytical methods and FE-Analysis
- Performance of numerical optimizations and damage simulations (i. e. crack propagation)
- Definition and support of static and fatigue tests, validation of analysis models
- Investigation of in-service incidents of the fleet and proposal of appropriate actions
- Delegation of work packages and support of subcontracting activities
**Your profile**:
- Educated engineer with university degree in aerospace engineering (or equivalent) and work experience as stress engineer
- Good knowledge in FE Modeling techniques including pre
- and post-processing (Hypermesh, Optistruct, NASTRAN, ABAQUS)
- Solid skills of standard stress analysis methods (e.g. HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark & Young)
- Experience with fatigue / lifetime analysis
- Self-motivated and independent way of working with good communication skills
- Proactive attitude and willingness for teamwork in a transnational surrounding with various interfaces to other disciplines
- Fluent in French and English
