Position Duties

En tant que Game Designer NPC (Non Playable Characters), vous participerez au développement et au suivi des personnages non joueur de Star Wars Eclipse, un jeu action-aventure de nouvelle génération avec un noyau narratif fort.

Sous la direction d'un.e Lead NPC, vous jouerez un rôle pivot entre les équipes artistiques et techniques en transformant la vision du Directeur Créatif, des auteurs et des autres designers en un ensemble cohérent que vous détaillerez et suivrez à chaque étape de la production.
- Sur la base d'un scénario et de briefings créatifs, vous apportez votre expertise en design pour créer un environnement riche, complexe et vivant autour du joueur.
- Créer et assurer le suivi de la documentation entourant les séquences dont vous êtes responsable, en agrégeant et en tenant compte du réseau de contraintes techniques et artistiques qui assureront une intégration fluide ;
- Participer à la préparation des shootings mocap, en veillant à faire respecter les contraintes techniques aussi bien que la vision créative définie ;
- Garantir la qualité de l'expérience utilisateur finale en suivant l'intégration des scènes et le réglage des comportements des NPCs ;
- Assurer la bonne communication avec les autres Intégrateurs, Game Designers, Level Designers, chefs d'équipe ainsi qu'avec les équipes connexes (IA, R&D, gameplay, animation, QA,...) ;
- Suivre le marché et se tenir au courant des dernières tendances / pratiques de nos concurrents ;
- Au moins 3 ans d'expérience comme Game Designer et un jeu livré dans un studio de développement de jeux AA ou AAA ;
- Excellentes compétences de communication verbale et écrite ;
- Organisation, rigueur et autonomie ; votre production est structurée et respecte la ligne directrice du projet ;
- Excellent esprit d'équipe avec la capacité de promouvoir la vision auprès d'autres départements et faire respecter les contraintes techniques propre à l'équipe NPC ;
- Capacité à appréhender les défis pour proposer des solutions et des idées créatives, et à adapter votre expertise préalable à des jeux originaux ;
- Capacité d'adaptation au changement dans un environnement de création itératif.
- Un bon niveau d'anglais, oral et écrit, est requis afin de communiquer aisément avec les membres internationaux de nos équipes ;
