About you and this role
In this role, you will be responsible for Activity Coordination for Erstein Site, providing specific expertise to achieve EHS&S, production, and cost targets, and provides direct people leadership of the Operators. As a leader, fosters a work environment with a high level of integrity and strong safety focus that embraces inclusion and diversity, innovation and sustainability, continuous improvement, and empowerment. Accountable for the performance and results of their team and understands the plant strategy, value added activities criteria and day to day operations. This role will report to Site / Production Leader
Responsibilities
- Operational Discipline & Management Systems: Ensure execution of operating discipline, management of change (MOC), return to operation (RTO), procedure use, and adherence to LCS.
- Team Development & Inclusive Practices: Drive fair and equitable TRBs, balance shift knowledge, and promote inclusive behaviors. Develop shift operations employees through goal-setting, performance management, and development plans.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Provide leadership to the Operations team for consistent and optimal production output. Collaborate with Plant Leadership and other roles to understand team skill/growth needs and provide necessary coaching.
- Immediate Response & Coordination: Coach on immediate response activities and work collaboratively with EHS&S, engineers, production coordination, and gatekeepers to coordinate plant activities effectively.
- Role Model & Plant Leadership: Serve as a positive role model in safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping. Participate in the Plant Leadership Team and be a member of the site on-call list for Duty Engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Fluent in French and English.

Additional notes
- Working from home is not a regular option.
