Job Description
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Engineer in Certification and airworthiness (f/m) to join our Design and Repair certification department based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team providing airworthiness approval to In-Service repair solutions . As part of the Certification team , you will be involved with Customer Care Center matters to give the best repair solution to the customers for them to bring back their aircraft in an airworthy condition after an event. Your challenges: We are in close collaboration with all Airbus design offices worldwide. We are working together with two other off-shore teams, in a follow the sun approach :
- one based in Mobile (USA)
- one based in Bangalore (India) Your main tasks and responsibilities are: Provide Airworthiness approval of in-service repair solutions supported by the Repair and Design Approval Form (RDAF), and Flight Condition Documents (FCD). Interface with Airbus customer services, design offices, chief engineer teams and the other airworthiness departments. Act on request as airworthiness specialists in a multifunctional team to solve Aircraft on Ground situations (AOG). This position is an opportunity to work for all Airbus civil programs, on all ATA chapters and develop multi-skills. Being part of a very dynamic team, you will acquire a high level of overall aircraft knowledge, and enlarge your network within the company. After the initial training period, the work will be performed seven days a week (Monday to Sunday) in shifts on daytime hours by rotation. Your boarding pass: You have an advanced level in English. You are educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related discipline. You have structure or systems skills. You have a good general knowledge in aeronautics. You have experience in the design office and/or in airworthiness. Knowledge in configuration management is a plus. You are a real collaborative team player, reactive and curious. This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities. Not a 100% match? - Airbus Commercial Aircraft recherche un Ingénieur en certification et navigabilité (f/h) pour rejoindre notre Service de certification des réparations basé à Toulouse, France . Vous ferez partie d’une équipe qui approuve les solutions de réparations proposées par le bureau d'études du Service Client, suite à un événement en service . Au sein de l'équipe certification et navigabilité, vous aurez la responsabilité de vérifier et attester que la solution technique ainsi appliquée restaure la navigabilité de l’avion. Cette étape est indispensable pour la remise en service de l’avion. Votre environnement de travail : Capitale mondiale de l'aéronautique et capitale européenne de la recherche dans le spatial, Toulouse est une ville dynamique du sud-ouest de la France desservie par un aéroport international.
