About the Company:
Our client is a liquidity and technology provider of solutions for the crypto and foreign exchange (FX) industry. The company specializes in the sphere of B2B services and products, catering to a wide range of clients including large licensed brokers, crypto exchanges, crypto brokers, forex brokers, hedge and crypto funds, and professional managers. The company’s advanced base of ready-to-use technical solutions enables brokers to save time and money on consuming infrastructure projects and focus on enlarging their client base and increasing their revenues.
Desired Candidate Profile:
We are in search of a dynamic leader with a wealth of experience in compliance management within the fintech sphere. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adeptness in both process optimization and personnel leadership. They should exhibit a proactive approach to enhancing processes, optimizing operations, and presenting innovative solutions. Moreover, the candidate should possess exemplary problem-solving abilities and adeptness in navigating the delicate balance between client requirements and business objectives. A methodical approach to process enhancement is indispensable.
Requirements:
Possession of a legal degree is a prerequisite.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the fintech industry, with a specific focus on payment systems.
Expertise in fintech blockchain, payment systems, brokerage, and hedge funds.
Demonstrated proficiency with compliance department functions, encompassing configuration, management, and leadership roles, spanning at least 5 years.
Preferably holds certifications such as ACAMS, ICA, or equivalent.
Experience with blockchain analytics software (Chainalysis, Crystal, Elliptic etc.)
is advantageous.
Proven track record of engaging with regulatory authorities.
Responsibilities:
Oversight of two regulated projects, including payment and institutional brokerage initiatives.
Management of a team of up to 10 members, ensuring effective supervision across multiple legal entities, including a distinguished white label team.
Vigilant supervision of all local compliances.
Alignment of a unified policy framework across the organizational spectrum.
Implementation of departmental automation to streamline operations.
Regular review and update of internal policies and procedures in response to regulatory changes.
Optimization of client onboarding procedures to enhance efficiency.
Collaboration with various departments, particularly sales, to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Ongoing monitoring and evaluation of client activities to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
Integration of compliance standards into organizational programs through close collaboration with the IT department.
Configuration of processes to ensure optimal compliance outcomes.
Group-wide configuration of compliance frameworks.
Active engagement with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements within the industry.
