development of the Healico mobile app, which now has a growing user base of 80,000 HCPs across Europe as well as development

Presently, we count over 40 dashboard creators and 800 dashboard consumers, with numerous data-centric projects underway and
planned for the near future. This data is coming from Information Systems, Clinical data, external and real-life medical data from our
mobile app Healico.

To further advance our data-driven strategy, we are establishing the role of Head of Data. This pivotal position will play a key role in
shaping our data strategy and fostering a culture of innovation throughout the organization.

About the role
As the Head of Data, you will lead a mutli-skilled team specialized in data engineering, data analysis and data science, positioning as
a business partner and key ressource for businesses to drive value out of the data produced locally. The Data Team includes internal
and external team members.
Reporting to the director of Commercial Excellence and Digitalisation, you will lead the Data Excellence journey within Urgo Medical,
for all domains an geographies. You will have high exposure with the leadership team of Urgo Medical

Key responsabilities
Manage Urgo Medical Global Data team

  • Embark Global Data Team on vision & roadmap
  • Provide necessary training, coaching and resources
  • Connecting with them on technical topics
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Drive Urgo Medical Data Excellence journey

  • Establish a strategy in collaboration with Urgo Medical top management and with the Urgo Group IT team
  • Develop, maintain and administrate the Urgo Medical data platform on Snowflake
  • Accompany businesses and domains on their data journey : clarify needs, recommand the right technical choices and prioritise global ressources according to business potential.
  • Develop & animate Urgo Medical Data Governance globally (counting + 40 analysts) (roles, responsabilities, best practices)
  • Empower businesses providing training and support on PowerBI
  • Drive innovation in data management and analytics techniques
  • Guarantee the security and integrity of data in compliance with the regulatory frameworks

Derive value out of the data of our mobile app Healico

  • Work in close collaboration with Healico product team to feed and adjust Healico roadmap (analysis of retention, feature impact, user segmentation, root cause analysis)
  • Provide insight to marketing and development teams about treatment efficacy on healing trajectory
  • Build an AI platform with DevOps and Data Engineering team to create predictive models of healing time based on anonymous patient data (including deep learning on wound pictures)
  • Maintain and improve the Healico data pipeline with ever increasing amount of data

Candidate profile

Technical skills
Proven experience in implementing and executing data strategy and management in rolling out data products
Very strong skills in data analysis and visualization tools and practices (we use SQL and PowerBI)
Good knowledge of ETL processes and data integration best practices
Good knowledge of Cloud Managed Data Solutions (we use Snowflake, AWS and Azure)
Good knowledge of data governance principles, best practices and security standards
Good knowledge of the latest trends : Data Modeling, LLMs, Automation and AI-related topics around Data manipulation.
Familiar with data privacy regulations and compliance
