The ideal candidate combines backend ABAP development experience with modern front-end SAPUI5 skills and understands cloud-ready, service-oriented development using RAP.This role is instrumental in driving innovation, modernizing legacy SAP environments, and enabling intuitive user experiences across devices.Key ResponsibilitiesSAP Application DevelopmentDesign and implement scalable SAP applications using ABAP OO and RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model)Develop and enhance SAP Fiori and UI5 applications with responsive user interfacesBuild CDS Views, OData services, and behavior definitions aligned with SAP's Clean Core principlesMaintain and extend existing SAP modules and custom applications (e.g., SD, MM, FI, HCM, etc.)Integrate SAP applications with external systems and APIs using RFC, REST, and ODataSupport SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and SAP S/4HANA transformation projectsContribute to system architecture discussions, ensuring clean code, performance, and maintainabilityTesting & Quality AssuranceWrite unit tests and support automated testing in SAP environments (ABAP Unit, ATC, etc.)Ensure compliance with SAP development guidelines and secure coding practicesConduct peer code reviews and performance tuningWork closely with functional consultants, architects, and DevOps teams to gather requirements and deliver quality solutionsDocument development processes, technical specifications, and deployment proceduresParticipate in agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiativesRequired Qualifications6+ years of SAP development experience using ABAP OO and SAP UI5/FioriSolid experience with RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model) and Core Data Services (CDS)Strong understanding of SAP Gateway, OData services, and Fiori architectureFamiliarity with SAP S/4HANA architecture and extension modelsProficiency in Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines in SAP environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and SAP Cloud SDKKnowledge of CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) is a plusSAP certifications in ABAP, UI5, or Fiori developmentExposure to agile development methodologies and DevOps for SAP #J-18808-Ljbffr
