OverviewJob title: IoT EngineerSector: Oil & GasStarting date: ASAPContrat: CDIC ou FreelanceLocation: Pau, FranceLanguages: Fluent in French and EnglishResponsibilitiesPreparation of Instrumentation engineering deliverables including Specifications, Instrument DatasheetsPrepares the technical documentation for instrumentation and IoT devices and performs the technical evaluationsProvide inputs and review of engineering drawings including Instrument Location Plans, Instrument Installation Details, Process Hook-Ups, InterconnectionResponsible for finalizing BOM for procurementReview Instrumentation Vendors offers, prepare Vendor Technical Clarifications, and prepare Technical Bid Evaluation reportsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align IoT solutions with business goalsPrepare documentation for presentation, review, and approval of the IoT solution, Instrumentation design to project stakeholders (Site, Architecture, Infrastructure, IT Security etc..) and support throughout the approval processPerform Incoming material inspection and quality control to ensure the purchased materials meet all necessary quality metricsConfiguration, Onboarding and Testing of IoT DevicesSupport IoT Use case deployment activitiesDevelop Use case specific documentation for deployment, post deployment support and maintenanceSupport site teams for installation of IoT devices and networks equipment'sMonitoring performance of Instruments (IoT devices) using IoT applicationsResponsible troubleshooting for IoT devices and for providing technical support to site teamsResponsible for coordinating with engineering teams and project stakeholdersIdentify continuous improvement opportunitiesQualificationsAt least 8+ years of experience in Instrumentation design specifically in the context of IoTExperience in detailed engineering and design of Instrumentation for Oil & Gas projects (preferable)Familiar with relevant international codes, standards, and recommended practices such as ISA, NEC, NFPA, IEC, etc.Experience in designing, developing IoT use casesKnowledge of regulations regarding the European ATEX / SIL guidelinesGood understanding of communication protocols, such as MQTT, LoRaWANSound organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, priority-changing environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including good presentation skills and ability to write technical documents / specificationsFluent in French and English mode of communicationsExperience in Project managementWorking experience in Agile methodology #J-18808-Ljbffr
