Senior UX Designer – Bordeaux, France (XR Labs office) We are Qualcomm France S.A.R.L., a leading player in Augmented and Virtual Reality technology. Our XR team is seeking a Senior UX Designer to join a talented and innovative group developing the next generation of XR technologies. Job Summary The Senior UX Designer will be responsible for optimizing the user experience of our products, placing a strong emphasis on quality, usability, and overall success. This role will involve driving research and development efforts, prioritizing key aspects that truly impact the product, and working closely with stakeholders to create engaging, highly usable designs. Responsibilities Design superior customer experiences and learn about customer and user-centered design. Translate user requirements into meaningful and engaging experiences, considering business requirements, company strategy, and technical constraints. Create engaging, highly usable designs and layouts. Conceptualize, validate, and implement new product features. Analyze requirements together with Project Owners. Cooperate with developers in agile, interdisciplinary teams. Organize and participate in usability testing. Minimum Qualifications University degree in Design, Cognitive Science, Computer Science, or Engineering with a focus on user interface design and development. Professional experience in user interface design (Adobe XD, Figma). Experience in user-centered design processes and using corporate design systems. Preferred Qualifications Several years of experience and an outstanding portfolio showcasing UX work for mobile, desktop, or touch devices; experience with the latest tools for design and prototyping. Experience creating personas, user flows, sitemaps, transaction flows, scenarios, wireframes, and navigation models. Experience with user-centered methods such as design thinking and design sprints. Experience with research techniques and methods (qualitative and quantitative surveys, usability tests, data analysis). Experience with design frameworks (Design Thinking, Human-Centered Design, mixed methodologies). Work Location Bordeaux’s XR office features a new space on three levels, with a rooftop close to the Wine Museum and the Chartrons. The role is a 5‑day on‑site position. The company language is English, and you will collaborate with an international engineering team.
