Platform Engineer (x/f/m) - Tech Foundations Join Alan as a Platform Engineer to support our tech foundations and enable product crews. What you'll work on Infrastructure enablement for product crews (hosting improvements, CI/CD, scalability, multi‑cloud architecture) Security and compliance facilitation (authentication, encryption, threat protection) Developer productivity enhancements (local environment setup, monorepo tooling, observability, tech stack evolution) Design system, accessibility, AI‑assisted engineering enablement Responsibilities You’ll be able to tackle high‑impact & high‑risk projects involving many engineers. You’ll design and implement robust infrastructure systems with a focus on reliability and observability. You’ll maintain our uptime targets while optimizing infrastructure costs. You’ll improve our incident management processes and lead post‑mortems. You’ll build and maintain internal tooling (e.g. API, web interface, internal command line) for other engineers. You’ll mentor other engineers and lead crews. You’ll contribute to hiring, shaping candidates’ hiring experience, and improving our technical assessment process. Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a platform engineer. Strong experience with cloud platforms (especially AWS). Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability tools. Comfortable writing code for automation and tooling (e.g. API, internal command line). Some experience as a full‑stack or backend software engineer. Willingness to work in Python/JavaScript (no need for advanced experience). Understanding of modern deployment practices and CI/CD. Ability to debug complex system issues. Self‑starting, entrepreneurial, humble, and collaborative. Fluent in English (no French required). Benefits Equity package in addition to base salary.
