STAGE 2026 - Génie logiciel - Polyglot software analysis - F/H Berger-Levrault is an international software editor based in France with a presence in Europe, Morocco, and Canada. It serves local governments, health institutions, the education sector, and industry. It develops many applications, some using multiple programming languages or employing microservices, which creates several artefacts that communicate with each other. Inside the DRIT (Direction of Research and Technology Innovation), the LabGL team primarily uses Moose to analyze software. Moose is designed for analyzing monolithic software and does not link multi‑language components or detect microservices belonging to the same software, hampering polyglot analysis. The stage aims to automate the generation of tests and properties for each FAST metamodel generated, using Tree‑Sitter parsing to produce models. The student will rely on Tree‑Sitter repositories for each language and may use AI to associate examples to nodes. Initial tasks include exploring Pharo and Moose (Famix, FAST, MoTion), adding properties and tests for FASTTypeScript, researching AI‑based test generation, and generating FAST metamodels beginning with Python, then C#, VB, etc. Qualifications Student in the final year of engineering school or equivalent (BAC+5) with a focus on Software Engineering, seeking a 6‑month internship starting spring 2026. Experience in object‑oriented programming (Java, C#, Pharo, …). Familiarity with a Git environment. Strong writing and synthesis skills. Demonstrated autonomy. Recruitment Process 1.
