Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: 569586 Paris 75, FR Global Logistics Operations Specialist CMA Ships, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, covers all facets of the maritime business: from the fleet management of the vessels to that of the crew members.CMA Ships is also a team of experts responsible for implementing innovative solutions and making CMA CGM vessels more energy efficient. YOUR ROLE To be the link between finance team and operation team, to follow the transport operations, to define the voyages’ profitability, to alert management in case of disruptions. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? Operational oversight:Monitor day-to-day operations Revenue control:Provide finance with necessary information and details to ensure proper invoicesCollaborate with the finance and sales team to forecast revenueMonitor revenue streams to identify opportunities through improved pricing modelsCoordinate and validate with the client all extra costs to be invoiced Cost control:Monitor and analyze operational expensesWork with procurement teams to optimize costs and negotiate contractsValidate supplier invoices to ensure consistency with the operations Performance monitoring:Estimate the voyages’ profitability, track and analyze KPIsIdentify trends, inefficiencies and areas for improvement Problem-solving:Address and resolve operational and revenue related issues such as delays, billing errors in a timely mannerDevelop contingency plans to minimize disruptions in the revenue and costs flows Work closely with the operation team to determine activities’ performance Work closely with the finance team to confirm voyages’ profitability Identify opportunities to enhance processes with the operation team and finance team Reporting:Prepare and present detailed reports on operational performance, revenue trends, challenges and achievements to senior managementMaintain accurate records of fleet operations and revenue dataPrepare the operational data for closing, forecasts and budgeting purposes WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Master’s degree in finance or business control Fluent in English (written and verbal) 1 to 3 years Strong analytics skills Advanced excel Knowledge in logistics and transport Familiarity with financial software and cost tracking systems WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?
