Application Engineer (m/f/d) Bruker, a global leader in advanced analytical instrumentation, is looking for a skilled Application Engineer to support customers in using XRF (X-ray Fluorescence) products. This role involves product demonstration, technical sales consulting, and application training across our global customer base. Responsibilities Product demonstration and technical sales consulting of the XRF product portfolio. Measuring, reporting, and presenting results on customer samples. Planning and conducting customer demos on products, components, and possible applications. Determining customer requirements through technical sales consulting. Maintaining and facilitating communication between customers and the company. Conducting application training courses for customers (remote, in‑house, or on‑site) or training service groups in their application related needs. Assisting application‑related customer inquiries. Identifying and compiling suitable application data for marketing material, and assisting the preparation of marketing presentations for workshops, webinars, and trade fairs. Supporting development of components, instruments, and software. Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, Geosciences, Material Sciences, or a related field. Previous experience with XRF instruments is an advantage. Good knowledge of laboratory environment and workflow. Familiarity with analytical systems and ability to troubleshoot software. Tenacity and self‑motivation, driven by enthusiasm, initiative, and the desire to complete projects. Well‑structured and organized. Outgoing, likable personality with high integrity and a high standard of presentation. A natural team player willing to build confidence and establish cooperative relationships across the company. Ability to respect local cultural differences and travel internationally (up to 50 %, mainly French‑speaking countries). Fluency in French and English.
