OverviewJoin to apply for the Chef d'atelier F/H role at VINCI. Terélian, a subsidiary of VINCI Construction, carries out or adapts transport, hydraulic, environmental, and logistical facility projects in France.Terélian operates with a strong local presence (15 agencies across regions) and covers expertise in earthworks, environmental, topography, geotechnics, engineering and innovation, joinery for stability of structures and land-based or alternative transport projects. Each year Terélian leads around 500 sites nationwide, combining know-how and innovation in earthworks while developing the domain of material extraction, mining, material revalorization, constructive provisions for stability, and terrestrial/alternative transport.The Ile-de-France Hauts-de-France agency of Terélian has a fleet of 50 machines (primarily Caterpillar, Volvo, Komatsu, Liebherr) managed and maintained by local teams.Reporting to the Materials Manager for the zone, you will be responsible for the workshop.ResponsibilitiesEnsure the availability of equipment and materials necessary for the workshop to operateManage procurement of raw materials and consumablesResolve varied technical and organizational issues of the workshop and propose improvementsOrganize the work and manage the teams: distribute work and adjust staffing as neededMaintenance operations managementImplement the maintenance plan on the machinesProvide technical support to mechanics during maintenance or breakdown operationsAssist in planning equipment technical stops and supervise their execution at the depotOrganize and supervise subcontracted interventions on the equipment, in agreement with the equipment managerCoordinate the involvement of control bodies within the workshopProvide activity reporting to the equipment manager (work tracking, resources, incidents, technical problems)Budget managementConsult suppliersEnsure adherence to projected costs of quotations and evaluate resultsQuality — Prevention — EnvironmentLead safety and environmental briefings and shift handoversOrganize, implement and enforce preventive and protective measures and environmental and waste management complianceQualificationsIssued from a BTS/DUT maintenance or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.Good knowledge of Caterpillar, Volvo, Komatsu equipment, etc.You are recognized for technical competencies in general mechanics, propulsion, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrotechnics and electricity.You organize activity while listening to your team and enjoy sharing knowledge and training your colleagues.Autonomous, organized, rigorous and methodical, you have analytical and synthesis skills.Why us?Terélian is an inclusive company with passionate people who form a cohesive, engaged and engaging team.
