Senior Procurement Category Manager Metals (m/f/d)Join to apply for the Senior Procurement Category Manager Metals (m/f/d) role at Hager Group.What you will doDevelop and implement the sourcing strategy for metal raw materials that supports the company's growth.Manage policies and processes for purchasing the raw materials needed for manufacturing products, research, or other business activities.Monitor, analyze and anticipate the raw materials market, global economic conditions, and events to make informed purchasing decisions.Identify, evaluate, and monitor suppliers and develop relationships which ensure reliable supply and guarantee the quality and availability of necessary raw materials.Oversee tenders and contract negotiations to secure the best prices to meet raw material needs.Provide strategic support to internal stakeholders to ensure inventory levels targets and manufacturing needs are met.Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards governing the purchase and delivery of goods.Lead supplier innovation days and competitions to increase technology sharing and new idea generation; foster an innovative, collaborative, and high-performance work environment.What about youUniversity degree in business management, supply chain management, or equivalent and 10+ years in a category management position, with imperative experience in metal raw materials.Fluent in English; knowledge of German is ideal.
