Remote Fullstack Engineer

As a Fullstack Engineer at Kiln, you will join our Software Development Team, composed of 11 engineers split into 3 squads, to build the future of our SaaS/API-first products https://docs.kiln.fi/v1/. You will report to our Lead Software Engineer, and collaborate with the Product, Infrastructure and Smart-Contract teams to work on the various products that Kiln offers. Responsibilities Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy. Be an active contributor within the Fullstack squad owning Kiln user-facing products (Dashboard, dApp, Explorer). Design, develop and implement new features : - 70% frontend (e.g. using our design system to build new features or adding new components to it...). - 30% backend (e.g. implement the transaction crafting part for a new protocol...). Participate in code review, test and CI/CD processes, bug fixing, and code maintenance. Interact with customers for debugging purposes and product discovery. Make sure we respect any software security norms (Kiln is a SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 company). Actively suggest continuous improvement of Kiln's platform and engineering practices. Communicate with other Kiln teams to help them understand the Software roadmap and technical challenges. Stack TypeScript, React, PHP, Laravel, REST API Other engineering stacks Software (Golang); Smart contract (Solidity); Infrastructure (Kubernetes) Requirements +3 years of experience as a Software Engineer (Backend, Frontend, or Fullstack), designing, building, and deploying user-facing and API-based products. Proven TypeScript and React programming skills — professional experience in a production environment. Familiar with software development best practices (Test, CI/CD, DevOps, Security...). Previous experience collaborating in a team-based development environment is required (sprints, code reviews, standups, problem-solving sessions). Curiosity and ability to dig into a topic and follow through. Ability to balance between impact and thoroughness in a fast-paced environment.
