Our client, an internationally recognised player in the field of audit and spend analysis, supports major companies in optimising their purchasing processes and identifying high value-added financial opportunities. They are recruiting a Senior Analyst – Audit, trilingual French / English / German, based on-site with one of their clients, a major retail player located in Massy-Palaiseau. Responsibilities Carry out and supervise post-payment audits to identify anomalies and optimisation levers in commercial agreements. This role also includes managing a junior team member, negotiating and regularly interacting with the client’s procurement and legal teams, as well as proposing concrete solutions aimed at improving operational and financial performance. Independently conduct post-payment audits based on client data (Retail sector) to identify errors and generate claims. Analyse and interpret contracts, commercial agreements, invoices and financial flows to detect anomalies (duplicate payments, non-applied discounts, pricing errors, etc.). Interact directly with the client’s procurement teams to present audit results, propose solutions and support commercial discussions. Understand and anticipate negotiation mechanisms and procurement operations to strengthen the relevance of analyses and recommendations. Produce and follow up claims, ensuring communication with suppliers until the full recovery of amounts. Review and validate the work of junior auditors before it is submitted to clients or suppliers. Provide training and support to less experienced colleagues on audit methodologies and tools. Ensure quality control of claims and monitor adherence to deadlines and priorities for each project. Build and maintain trusting relationships with clients and suppliers, and manage professional exchanges, including on complex matters. Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit tools and processes by identifying optimisation opportunities and sharing best practices. Collaborate effectively with other team members and participate in the development of sector knowledge (retail, procurement, accounts payable). Profile required Proven experience in audit, internal control, management control, accounting or procurement, ideally in the retail or consumer goods sector. Good understanding of procurement department operations and commercial negotiation levers. Good command of Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, lookups, etc.) Strong analytical skills, with ability to manage priorities and multiple projects. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with numerous stakeholders, including buyers and category managers. Trilingual French / English / German, comfortable both written and spoken in an international professional environment. Natural leadership, a taste for challenge and a results-oriented mindset. Salary 56K€ basic + variable bonus of 25% based on achieved objectives (linked to recovered amounts), with potential to exceed targets and bonus acceleration.
