About the Role At Veralto, our purpose is safeguarding the world’s most vital resources. In this role, you will be part of the HR Services team, based in France and working remotely. Job Description The Payroll Partner is a key member of the wider HR team, supporting the business by managing payroll functions and ensuring compliance and service quality. Responsibilities Manage Tier 1 payroll requests, ensuring responses exceed SLAs and maintain service quality. Serve as the primary contact for payroll inquiries from regional EMEA Associate Groups, focusing on France and supporting other countries. Oversee the full payroll cycle: collect, validate, and input data, ensuring timely salary payments in compliance with statutory regulations. Coordinate with external payroll vendors to ensure accurate calculations and timely submission of social security contributions, taxes, and other statutory requirements. Update HRIS and communicate hire, leaver, transfer, promotion, and organizational changes promptly. Support internal and external audits, including SOX compliance, and maintain internal controls. Correspond with tax offices, health insurance companies, social security institutions, and other authorities. Process supplementary insurance and pension plans. Prepare payroll reports, statistics, certificates, and forms; reconcile accounts with the financial accounting department and prepare annual financial statements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field, and a minimum of 2 years of proven payroll experience. Deep knowledge of local labor, tax, and social security regulations in France; additional country knowledge welcomed. Experience working in multicultural, international teams, collaborating with Finance and HR partners. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with strong communication, tone, messaging, execution, planning, and ownership skills. Problem‑solving orientation and excellent organizational abilities. Proficiency in French and English; additional European languages welcome. Knowledge of HRIS, preferably Workday, and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
