They provide fully integrated, end-to-end connectivity solutions, supporting everything from design and build through to commissioning, operations and ongoing site support. Following the award of a long-term multi-site contract in Paris, the business is expanding its on-site engineering team to strengthen its day‑to‑day support capability across three data centre locations. As part of this growth, they are now looking for skilled Data Centre Technicians to join the operation and help deliver a fully turnkey service. What you’ll be doing Building and installing racks, cable management and structured hardware installs. Fibre and copper patching, fault finding, and carrying out testing using Fluke, OTDR and power meters. Installing, replacing and commissioning IT hardware (servers, switches, storage devices, optics, PSUs, etc). Power‑related tasks including wiring PDUs, circuit breakers and electrical cabling within your competence. Supporting remote teams by following MOPs/SOPs, performing hands and eyes tasks and providing clear, accurate feedback. Completing documentation, port maps, patch logs and test reports to a high standard. Using ticketing systems to manage work requests and updates (ServiceNow or similar). Working normal daytime hours, with overtime and call‑out available when required. Travelling between three data centre sites within Paris as part of your weekly routine. What you’ll need to bring Proven experience in data centre operations, structured cabling or telecoms installation. Strong rack‑build and hardware installation skills. Fibre and copper installation, patching and testing experience (essential). A technical diploma in electrical or telecoms engineering that qualifies you to work with electrical cabling, for example - CAP/BEP Électricien, BTS Électrotechnique, BAC Pro MELEC, Titre Professionnel Installateur Électricien, or an equivalent international qualification in electrical installation or telecoms engineering. Comfortable with electrical elements such as PDU wiring, safe isolation and power‑up procedures. Fluency in English and competent French (ideally B2/C1 level). A full driving licence. The right to live and work in France without restriction. Nice to have Experience in colocation or hyperscale data centres. Basic IP configuration or network troubleshooting knowledge. #J-18808-Ljbffr
