Fullstack Software Engineer (x/f/m) – Insurance Offer Join the Alan team and help build the insurance infrastructure that 950k+ people in France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada rely on. Mission & Impact Your code directly impacts whether someone gets healthcare coverage. In 2024, our pricing improvements boosted sales efficiency by 50% and made insurance more accessible. What you'll build and who you'll work with Acquisition Engine: Real‑time pricing and contract generation for sales teams and prospects. Renewal System: Automatic review and adjustment of coverage across the portfolio, handling legal changes and trends. Next‑Gen Pricing: Advanced customization that tailors guarantees to individual needs while preserving fair risk distribution. You’ll collaborate with insurance experts, business analysts, and sales teams, bridging complex regulations and user experiences. Why this role is special Direct Impact: Decisions influence pricing, profitability, and access to care. Complex Problems: Multi‑country regulations, real‑time pricing, scalability. Ownership & Growth: Shape product direction, mentor junior engineers, lead technical initiatives. The Tech Stack Python/Flask, React, PostgreSQL in a monorepo; deployments are daily; we value distributed ownership. What we're looking for – Technical Requirements 3+ years building scalable backend systems. Experience with high‑traffic applications that real users depend on.
