OverviewSoftware Architect role at TekSynap — joining the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Team.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop new software products and major enhancements to existing applications.Perform feasibility analysis for potential future projects to support management decision-making.Address issues of systems integration, compatibility, and cross-platform functionality.Ensure all developed solutions meet quality, security, and performance requirements.Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements, translate them into system specifications, and deliver effective solutions.Support full software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities including requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, and sustainment.Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and aligned with technical and operational objectives.Required QualificationsMinimum of five (5) years of relevant software development experience.CertificationsRelevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.DoD 8570 IAT Level I Baseline CertificationCompTIA A+ with Continuing Education (A+ CE)Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA-Security)Certified Network Defender (CND)CompTIA Network+ with Continuing Education (Network+ CE)Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)ClearanceSecret - IT-II (Tier 3) Non-Critical Sensitive Clearance with a favorable NACLC.Work EnvironmentLocations: Remote — must be available to attend periodic in-person meetings in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.Type of environment: RemoteNoise level: MediumWork schedule: Day shift Monday – Friday; evenings and weekends may be required to meet program and contract needs.Travel: Less than 10%Work Authorization / Security ClearanceU.S. CitizenSecret ClearanceEqual Employment OpportunityTekSynap provides equal employment opportunities to all individuals and does not discriminate based on race, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, protected veteran status, national origin, disability, age, genetic information or any other characteristic protected by law.
