Yole Group’s business activities include daily interactions with a network of major operators in these industries which has been built on mutual trust over many years.JOB DESCRIPTION & MAIN TASKSYole Group is opening a Technology & Market Analyst position specialized in Power Electronics to develop our activities and perform technology, market, business, and strategic analysis.As part of the team focusing on power electronics, you will collaborate with analysts across various other domains to contribute to cross-functional projects as needed.The position is based in Lyon, France.Punctual business trips are expected (4/5 times a year for conferences, tradeshows, and customer visits).As a technology & market analyst, you will be responsible for:Overseeing technology and industry insights from technology to manufacturing trends for power devices (IGBTs, MOSFETs, Power management IC) for different end-applications (vehicle electrification, industrial, DC charging, consumer, automotive, battery management…)Collecting and analyzing data from different sources according to our internal methodologies, to get an overview of market trends, supply chain, and technology developments and trends.Understanding the impact of the emergence of new or improved technologies in various applications.Executing business, marketing, and technology analysis within a given timeframe and budget.Creating and managing long-term relationships with customers and answering clients' inquiries.Intervening as an expert in dedicated events worldwide (international conferences and workshops).RequirementsPROFILEA Master's, Engineering, or Ph.D. degree in semiconductor, microelectronics, power electronics, or a related field (e.g., materials science, physics) is mandatory.A proven experience of 3 to 5 years in the power electronics industry (R&D, production, market intelligence, product management, business development…) is mandatory.Strong interest in business, market strategy, and pricing.Good understanding and knowledge of the key players and semiconductor ecosystem.Good knowledge of data modeling. #J-18808-Ljbffr
