Startup Financial Planner

We are launching an exciting baby food startup in Paris, and we are looking for a highly experienced startup consultant to help bring this vision to life. This is an incredible opportunity to work on a meaningful project focused on creating nutritious, diverse meals for children while prioritizing sustainability and innovation.TasksThis role is divided into three critical phases:Phase 0: Planning and Strategy DevelopmentDevelop a detailed business plan that includes market analysis, competitive research, and a clear value proposition.Create comprehensive financial projections, including cash flow forecasts, break-even analysis, and funding requirements.Conduct a business valuation, factoring in market potential and scalability.Develop a detailed operational plan that aligns closely with the financial forecast, ensuring all aspects of the business (hiring, production, marketing, logistics) are financially viable and scalable.Help define the organizational structure, including roles, salaries, and operational costs.Prepare investor materials, including a pitch deck and financial model, to attract funding.Phase 1: Initial Launch and Foundation BuildingOversee the setup of critical business operations, including production, logistics, and distribution systems.Assist in hiring planning and onboarding key team members, ensuring alignment with the startup’s goals.Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production and supply chain management.Support the execution of the go-to-market strategy, including branding, marketing, and customer acquisition.Monitor and manage expenses against the launch budget, ensuring adherence to the financial forecast.Phase 2: Streamlining and HandoffOptimize business operations, ensuring scalability and efficiency.Establish clear KPIs and tracking systems for operational and financial performance.Document workflows, processes, and handoff materials for a new team member.Advise on the recruitment of a cost-effective operations manager or team member to take over day-to-day responsibilities.RequirementsExperience in Startups: A proven track record of working with early-stage businesses, particularly in the food, FMCG, or baby products industries.Financial Expertise: Strong skills in creating financial models, performing valuations, and preparing investor materials.Operational Know-How: Experience setting up and optimizing production, logistics, and operational workflows.Strategic Planning Skills: Ability to create detailed operational plans that align with financial forecasts to ensure sustainable growth.French Market Knowledge: Familiarity with French regulations, consumer behavior, and market dynamics is a must.Strategic and Hands-On: A mix of big-picture thinking and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get things done.Excellent Communicator: Able to convey complex concepts clearly and work collaboratively with a founder and a growing team.BenefitsProfessional Growth: Build a diverse portfolio in business planning, operations, and market entry.Competitive Compensation: Includes a consultant fee, milestone-based bonuses, and expense reimbursements.Long-Term Potential: Depending on performance, there will be future opportunities for a permanent role or equity-based rewards.Be part of a mission-driven brand dedicated to supporting healthy eating habits for children and promoting sustainability.Shape a startup’s journey from the ground up, with the opportunity to leave a lasting impact.Work in an exciting and growing market with the chance to collaborate closely with a passionate founder. #J-18808-Ljbffr
