Clinical Pharmacist – Acute & General Practice Join to apply for the Clinical Pharmacist – Acute & General Practice role at NHS Scotland Location Arran Medical Practice, Lamlash and Ayrshire Central Hospital, Irvine. Responsibilities Use and develop clinical expertise, including independent prescribing where applicable. Work with a cohort of patients as part of a multidisciplinary practice team and community hospital team. Ensure quality and cost‑effective prescribing within GP practices to meet NHS Ayrshire & Arran’s efficiency savings. Collaborate with patients and other healthcare professionals. Qualifications & Experience Relevant post‑registration experience of pharmacy practice. Masters degree in Pharmacy or equivalent. On the practising register of the General Pharmaceutical Council. Independent prescriber or willingness to work towards this. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; good IT skills. Hours & Working Pattern 37 hours per week, Monday‑Friday.
