Compensation 100k £/€ + Stock‑Options/BSPCE Location Remote across Europe with quarterly Paris office visits (fully reimbursed) About The Role You will own your work from A to Z: from architecture and coding features to monitoring releases’ performance. You will receive fast user feedback and iterate quickly (we update backend multiple times a week). Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (product, front‑end) to design and deliver seamless user experiences. You will optimise existing endpoints, driving down latency and ensuring we can continue to scale to ever greater usage. About You 5+ years of experience in backend development with Django and Django Rest Framework. Experience working with a relational database at scale, designing schemas, optimising Django queries, and running migrations with minimal downtime. Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL database larger than 100 GB. Experience designing endpoints in direct collaboration with frontend engineers, delivering both Open API and developer manuals/supporting documentation. Pragmatic, favour speed of iteration over perfection, and leverage frameworks and libraries. Strong sense of ownership, take initiative, and are at ease making product & technical decisions.
