Chief Compliance Officer - Crypto Exchange (EMEA Region) Location: Paris or London Industry: Crypto / Digital Assets / FinTech Type: Full-time | Executive Leadership Key Responsibilities Head up the compliance function, managing a growing team and setting strategic direction. Build and scale a comprehensive compliance framework tailored to digital assets and crypto operations. Regulatory Engagement Stay ahead of global regulatory developments, particularly across EMEA, and ensure proactive alignment. Manage relationships with regulators and oversee all external reporting obligations. Operational Excellence Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to meet regulatory standards. Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Risk, and Operations to embed compliance into business processes. Advise on compliance implications for new products and services within the crypto ecosystem. Lead regulatory audits and ensure timely, accurate responses to inquiries. Culture & Training Champion a culture of compliance through training, awareness, and best practices across the organization. Candidate Profile Experience & Expertise 10+ years in compliance, regulatory affairs, or risk management within financial services, fintech, or crypto. Strong familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing digital assets, including AML/KYC and financial crime prevention. Experience engaging with regulators in EMEA. Skills & Attributes Strategic mindset with the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments. Strong leadership and team-building capabilities. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
