Senior Packaging Developer – Functional Complements M/F/X Segment: Petcare, Royal Canin • Site: Aimargues, France Job Description Following the creation of our Center of Expertise (COE) for functional complements, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Packaging Developer to lead packaging development projects across multiple regions. This role will support the diversification of the Royal Canin product portfolio by developing packaging solutions for functional complement products, ensuring robust qualification to specifications and contributing to their implementation worldwide. Key Responsibilities Direct interaction with co‑manufacturers and packaging suppliers to ensure implementation of packaging solutions in line with specifications and Royal Canin expectations (recyclability). Responsible for packaging development projects (primary, secondary, and accessories such as caps) from the marketing brief to implementation in co‑man facilities, respecting critical success factors, packaging risk analysis, qualification protocols and production KPIs. Act autonomously as the dedicated role responsible for delivering and coordinating the technical packaging execution of FC products, covering a wide variety of packaging types. Ensure full compliance with qualification protocols and maintain traceability of all testing to demonstrate conformance to specifications. Deliver excellence in the execution of qualification protocols, in compliance with the Packaging Quality Management standard. Contribute to continuous improvement leveraging operational experience. Qualifications Master’s degree or equivalent in packaging materials and technology. Minimum 5 years of industry experience in FMCG and at least 2 years in packaging development in a similar industry.
