Post doc position – Body/brain relationship in drug addiction

AimsThe project, in collaboration with JR Cazalets from the Motopsyn team, aims to understand the relationship between the body and brain in drug addiction. Specifically, it will investigate the role of peripheral signals (such as temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration), produced by cocaine and nicotine, in influencing the propensity to relapse. The study will be conducted in rats and will involve intra-venous drug self-administration paradigms combined with telemetric recordings of peripheral physiological signals.SalaryThe salary will depend on the candidate's previous experience and academic level. It follows the university's salary grid, which can be provided to the candidate.
