Overview The Postdoctoral Researcher will contribute to Ipsen’s immuno‑oncology research programs by developing and implementing innovative in vitro approaches to study immune‑tumor interactions using next‑generation biologics (e.g., T‑cell reprogramming, including bispecific antibodies) or anti‑drug antibodies in both solid and hematological malignancies. This role focuses on translational research bridging discovery and preclinical development, supporting the advancement of innovative immunotherapies toward clinical application by exploring mechanism of action and differentiation. Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize in vitro immuno‑oncology models, including co‑culture systems, immune cell functional assays, and tumor microenvironment simulations in 2D, 3D, and/or tumor organoids systems Assess compounds in relevant in vitro assays to further understand their mechanism of action and potential differentiation Investigate immune checkpoint pathways, cytokine signalling, and tumor immune infiltration Analyse and interpret complex datasets from cellular assays, flow cytometry, and molecular profiling Collaborate with translational teams to integrate findings into clinical biomarker strategies Document experimental protocols and results in compliance with Ipsen standards and quality; record data in ELNs and write reports Stay up to date with emerging technologies and scientific advances in immuno‑oncology If needed, monitor studies conducted in CROs: ensure that the study is progressing according to plan and perform analyses as needed; make decisions about the protocol if necessary Generate high‑quality data packages for internal governance and regulatory submissions Collaborate with in vivo pharmacology and clinical biomarker teams and if needed with the asset team Communicate results effectively in multidisciplinary project meetings and external conferences Participate to external communication and/or publication (if applicable) Technical Competencies Strong expertise in immunology and oncology (mandatory) Hands‑on experience with immune cell, culture, and functional assays (T‑cell activation, cytotoxicity…) Proficiency in flow cytometry, ELISA, multiplex cytokine analysis, and genomic techniques (e.g., RNAseq and TCRseq) Knowledge of tumor biology and immune‑oncology therapeutic approaches Understanding of in vivo approaches in oncology Familiarity with translational research and biomarker development Behavioural Competencies Scientific curiosity and innovation – ability to propose and implement novel approaches Collaboration and communication – team player working effectively in cross‑functional teams Problem‑solving and adaptability – manage complex experimental challenges Accountability and rigor – ensure high‑quality, reproducible research Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Comply with applicable EHS regulations and procedures Contribute to the site's EHS performance by reporting risks, malfunctions, or improvements Participate in mandatory EHS training Knowledge & Experience (Essential) Proven background in immunology, immuno‑oncology, oncology or related field Experience in designing and performing in vitro and ex vivo models for immuno‑oncology research Excellent expertise in cell culture methods, cellular and molecular biology, immunology, and biochemistry Able to develop new techniques and methodologies tailored to project needs Exposure to translational activities linking preclinical findings to clinical applications Good organizational and prioritization skills Ability to work as part of a team in a multidisciplinary environment in a matrix environment Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking abilities Excellent communication and collaboration skills (written and oral) Travel to Balard (75015 Paris) as required for projects and interaction with TS team members Knowledge & Experience (Preferred) Familiarity with biomarker discovery and clinical trial support Education / Certifications (Essential) Ph.D. in Immunology, Oncology, or related field Languages (Essential) French fluent At least professional English Seniority level Not Applicable Employment type Full‑time Job function Research, Analyst, and Information Technology Industries Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Location: Saint‑Ouen‑d’Attez, Normandy, France #J-18808-Ljbffr
