NoOffer Description-Under the supervision of Pedro Mecê, the postdoctoral researcher will:Design, plan, and conduct in vivo experiments to investigate retinal neurovascular dynamics using the AO-RSO system;Develop or adapt high-speed image acquisition and processing methods for simultaneous measurement of neuronal and vascular responses;Contribute to the instrumental optimization of the imaging system (detector configuration, illumination control, multi-camera synchronization);Analyze and interpret experimental data in collaboration with clinicians from the Paris Eye Imaging group (Quinze-Vingts National Ophthalmology Hospital);Publish results in international peer-reviewed journals and present findings at conferences;Supervise and mentor Master's students or PhD candidates involved in the project;Contribute to the scientific dissemination and valorization of the research (papers, patents, presentations).Conduct in vivo optical imaging experiments on healthy volunteers and patients;Develop image-analysis pipelines (Python, MATLAB) and model functional optical signals;Optimize and maintain the AO-RSO imaging system;Work in close collaboration with clinicians for planning and running experimental sessions;Write scientific reports, publications, and technical documentation.The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary research team at the interface between physics, engineering, and clinical research, including scientists, engineers, physicians, and PhD students.The position involves close collaboration between:the Institut Langevin (ESPCI Paris – PSL), where instrumentation and data-analysis developments are carried out; andthe Paris Eye Imaging group at the Quinze-Vingts National Ophthalmology Hospital, where in vivo acquisitions are performed.Work will be distributed between both sites depending on project needs.PhD in Applied Physics, Optics, Biomedical Imaging, or a related field;Strong expertise in experimental optics and optical instrumentation;Proficiency in image processing and data analysis (Python, MATLAB);Experience in adaptive optics, OCT, or ophthalmic imaging would be highly valuable;Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team;Excellent communication and writing skills, scientific rigor, and initiative. #J-18808-Ljbffr
