Front End Developer

What you'll be doing The Technology & Engineering department at Future fosters a collaborative environment focused on delivering effective, well‑engineered, and scalable solutions. As a Frontend Developer, you will be an important member of the Emailtech Team at Future, collaborating closely with the broader Technology & Engineering department. Reporting to the Tech Lead, you will deliver scalable, well‑structured, and efficient web applications. You will work on both green‑field projects and the enhancement of existing systems, focused on frontend components. Develop scalable applications and performant frontend interfaces (React, AngularJS) for major Future brands. Collaborate with UX and engineering teams, ensuring high‑quality design implementation, testing coverage, and reliable code. Promote innovation by staying current with new technologies, joining hack days, and identifying and resolving issues. Experience that will put you ahead of the curve Good English level - Be able to participate to meetings in English The ability to build components from scratch in a JS framework (e.g. React/AngularJS) and a full understanding of the component life‑cycle 3+ years of experience with JavaScript (ES6+) / TypeScript, HTML and CSS Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest / Jasmine /Cypress) and build tools (e.g., Webpack / Vite / Parcel) 3+ years of experience with Git or an equivalent version control system Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools and practices Experience with creating and running containers locally What's in it for you The expected range for this role is EUR 40,000- EUR 45,000 This is a Hybrid role from our Grenoble Office, working two days from the office, two from home … Plus more great perks, which include; When we hit our targets, enjoy a share of our profits with a bonus Refer a friend and get rewarded when they join Future Access to Private Medical Insurance Internal job family level Technology 6 Who are we… We're Future, the global leader in specialist media.
