We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our IT systems and infrastructure. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of servers, networks, and applications, while providing technical support to end users. This role requires a strong understanding of systems administration, network management, and security best practices.Key Responsibilities:System Maintenance and Support:Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and applications, ensuring uptime and reliability.Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency.Network and Infrastructure Management:Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, and VPNs.Ensure secure and reliable connectivity for on-premises and remote users.User Support:Provide technical support to users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with security policies.Backup and Recovery:Implement and manage data backup and disaster recovery solutions.Regularly test recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and business continuity.Security and Compliance:Apply security updates and patches to servers, applications, and devices.Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.Automation and Optimization:Develop and maintain scripts for automating routine administrative tasks.Identify and implement improvements to existing systems and workflows.Documentation and Reporting:Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.Generate reports on system health, usage, and security for management review.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.6-10 years of relevant experience.Proficiency in managing operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux, macOS) and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and tools (e.g., DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).Experience with Active Directory, group policies, and domain management.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Preferred:Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).Knowledge of ITIL practices for incident and change management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
