PhD program SCHADOC - bottom-up call 2025-2026 RESEARCHER PROFILE PhD/R1: First stage ResearcherRESEARCH FIELD(S)1: AllMAIN SUB RESEARCH FIELD OR DISCIPLINES1:All JOB /OFFER DESCRIPTION SCHADOC is a COFUND doctoral program hosted at Aix-Marseille University (amU), designed as an interdisciplinary, intersectoral and international training initiative. SCHADOC will recruit 40 fellows for 36 months over the course of two calls (20 fellows in 2025 and 20 fellows in 2026) to develop thesis research projects in relation with four thematic axes: Societies and cultureClimate change and environmental challengesHealth and well-beingArtificial Intelligence and its applications Bottom-up projects: for students to submit their own thesis project. The submission portal will be open from December 1st, 2025 to January 12th, 2026. At this stage, having a supervisor is not required. We will support eligible candidates to find a supervisor at amU. The monthly gross salary excluding employers social security contributions will be 2,605€ (living allowance + mobility allowance).After excluding mandatory contributions, the monthly net salary to be offered to each fellow (living allowance + mobility allowance) will be approximately 2,123€, plus a net family allowance of 379€ if applicable. Moreover, each ESR will benefit from a 23.400€ research, mobility and training allowance.
