You'll ensure our 600,000 customers operate within a secure, compliant environment by conducting thorough PEP, sanctions, and adverse media screenings across our European markets. Working closely with Marina, our Lead AFC Sanctions & Investigations, you'll contribute to maintaining a robust compliance framework that protects Qonto's customers and enables the company to achieve its goal of serving 2M SMEs by 2030.ResponsibilitiesScreen and investigate alerts from World‑Check One and ComplyAdvantage against PEPs, Sanctions Lists, and Adverse MediaProcess transaction screening alerts in a timely manner, making acceptance or refusal decisions in our tooling systemMaintain detailed documentation of all PEP and Sanctions files, ensuring complete audit trailsCollaborate with cross‑functional teams (CFT Swift, Fraud, SEPA, Open Banking, AML) to improve processes and maintain seamless operationsContribute to compliance projects, including implementing new procedures and improving tool calibrationWhat you can expectCross•functional collaboration: Work directly with multiple teams (CFT Swift, Fraud, SEPA, Open Banking, AML) to ensure comprehensive compliance coverage and resolve complex casesProfessional screening tools: Work with World‑Check One, ComplyAdvantage, and Qonto's internal tooling systemFast‑paced fintech culture: We value autonomy, direct feedback, and continuous improvementOwnership of your workload: Manage your daily caseload independently while maintaining high quality standardsAbout your future managerMarina's background: After completing her Master’s degree, Marina built a strong career in Financial Crime prevention at Ebury before joining Qonto in 2020, where she now serves as Lead AFC Sanctions & Investigations, managing a team of nine professionals.What she brings to the team: Marina balances high compliance standards with a supportive, growth‑focused approach. She provides hands‑on coaching on complex cases and encourages her team to challenge existing processes while maintaining excellence.About YouExperience: At least 4 years in AML/Compliance in the financial sector, with screening expertise in PEPs, sanctions, and adverse mediaLanguages: Fluent in French and English (C1 minimum).
