Localisation: France Headquarter Evergreen GC, Limonest (69), closed to Lyon Contract: Permanent Contract Reporting: Group R&D Director JOB PURPOSE The R&D Process and Formulation Manager leads formulation innovation and lifecycle management to ensure robust, efficient, and competitive products across global operations. The role drives the development and maintenance of fertilizer and chemical formulations, with a strong focus on sustainability, regulatory compliance and process excellence. By optimizing formulations and manufacturing processes, the position supports cost‑saving initiatives, improves environmental performance, and enables scalable deployment of innovative, more sustainable solutions across international markets. RESPONSABILITES Develop commercially viable formulations in Evergreen labs or with third party labs or partners, Develop Lab Formulations for their industrialization through Scaleup and Industrial testing according to our Standard procedures, Support Supply Chain in reducing complexity and costs related to Process and Formulation by identifying and collecting formulation needs and requirements, Manage raw material and formulation data within the company’s documentation system by supervising set‑up, routing and approval of raw material, formulations and DFIs (Industrial Manufacturing Instructions), Supervise the design and the execution of sampling plans to develop experimental formulas for trialing and testing purposes for Biology, Packaging and Regulatory, Ensure all developments and maintenance are done according to Process & Formulation SOPs. Assist Manufacturing and Quality with implementation of new or revised raw material or formulations through training, Manage internal Lab and develop team of internal chemists. PROFILE With a graduate MSc Chemistry or Chemical Engineer, you have a 10 years experience in the development of chemical formulations in Europe in a regulated environment with 5 years in an analytical, quality or formulation Lab. You have competencies in formulation scale‑up, microbiology and long‑term product stabilization issues, ideally in an international environment within the agro industry, chemical industry, cosmetics, animal nutrition or processed food. You have a strong experience with ERP Systems and Lifecycle management tools, an excellent oral and written communication skills and you are fluent in written and spoken English. You have a natural authority and leadership, you are passionate, You demonstrate a balanced judgement and temperament under pressure. Your ability to anticipate future technical challenges is no more to demonstrate. You have a successful managerial experience and are willing to develop as a team leader. #J-18808-Ljbffr
