Vulnerability Assessment Engineer 2 Vector Synergy Location: Mons, Belgium Security Clearance: NATO Cosmic Top Secret Reference No: C004568 / Mons Responsibilities Plan and execute technical on‑site CIS Security Audits (Type‑3) for networks, systems, and applications, ensuring accuracy of results. Analyze collected assessment data and identify security weaknesses. Write Security Audit reports with findings and appropriate recommendations. Qualifications & Experience More than three years’ experience (excluding Artificial Intelligence) across security and networking domains. Expert knowledge in executing vulnerability assessment scans across large, complex networks without impacting availability or performance. Hands‑on experience with Tenable Nessus products, including advanced configuration and customization. In‑depth understanding of computer and communications security, enterprise networking, and the vulnerabilities in modern operating systems and applications. Experience assessing a variety of security controls aligned with industry best practices, including Zero Trust Architecture and Data‑Centric Security principles. Effective communication: briefing senior stakeholders, delivering clear presentations, producing high‑quality reports, and mediating technical discussions. Desirable Skills Introduction to advanced knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards.
