OverviewProvides clinical information and education for inbound calls and outbound calls; triages behavioral health crisis calls. Uses established protocols and independent professional judgment. Documents assessment, plans, interventions and results.ResponsibilitiesAnswer incoming telephone calls and triage behavioral health needsDocument calls and actions using standard computer software applicationsProvide resources and education to non-licensed behavioral health staffSchedule and make follow-up calls to provide care facilitationPromote recovery concepts and inspire hopeWork with other internal and external agency personnel to meet callers\' needsProvide professional assessments and interventions within the scope of relevant licensureProvide information and behavioral health education to callersPerform other duties as assigned; comply with all policies and standardsEducation/ExperienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred2-4 years (or 1+ year per Centene version) of Behavioral Health experience in crisis interventions, case management, behavioral interventions, therapy, assessment and intake, or related areaStrong computer skills (Microsoft Office and/or data entry systems)Strong data entry, typing, call documentation, and customer service skills including active listeningExperience in telephonic counseling and/or managed care setting preferredLicense/CertificationMust have one of the following licenses: Licensed Professional Counselor; Licensed Clinical Social Worker; Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist; Licensed Psychologist; Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor; Licensed Associate Counselor; Licensed Associate Substance Abuse Counselor; Licensed Masters Social Worker; Registered NurseAdditional NotesShift time is M-F 8-4 Arizona time.
