Alan is building a vertically integrated health partner that unites insurance and healthcare delivery into one system. We partner with 35K+ companies and serve 950+ members across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada with 700+ employees.Role: Operations Coordinator (Ops Runner) based in France, Belgium or Spain. You will work in a pool-based team delivering insurance and health services, with interactions across Engineering, Product, Care and other teams. You will join a team of 50+ Ops staff across countries, focusing on processes and continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesRun our Insurance or Health services processes (Ops Runner scope).Ensure day-to-day follow-up and monitoring of operations.Flag risks and opportunities and escalate as needed.Operate processes such as invoicing, claims treatment, provider network management, and internal support with documentation.Define and own monitoring schemes to track volumes, efficiency, SLAs, and identify risks and areas for improvement.Supervise partnerships (e.g., teleconsultation, claim operators), participate in negotiations, and maintain daily communications for business continuity.Perform controls on daily operations and identify training needs.Escalate feedback and help prioritise initiatives to improve processes and services.Note: Profiles should be able to embrace any challenge and join any pool. After some time, an Ops Coordinator may change scope. Ask the Operations Team for concrete examples of scope.MissionsOperating processes (invoicing, claims, network management, live support and documentation).Define and own the best monitoring scheme to track volumes, efficiency, SLAs, and risks.Supervise partnerships (teleconsultation, claim operators) and ensure business continuity.Perform daily controls and identify training needs.Escalate feedback and support initiatives to improve delight and efficiency.Implement continuous improvements to processes (roughly 20-30% of time) with product teams, external communications, audits, and automation as applicable.Experience and SkillsOpen to candidates from varied backgrounds; level range A2-B; strong interest in operations, processes, and services for companies in scale-up or industrial/logistics contexts.Experience in Support functions or Customer-facing roles; customer or commercial communications experience is a plus.Strong problem-solving, customer/member focus, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal English; French at least at C1; empathetic with strong organization and attention to detail.Adaptable and willing to take on multiple scopes; analytics skills are a plus; experience in insurance or healthcare is a plus.Perks & BenefitsCompetitive compensation with equity for permanent contracts.Flexible office options and remote-work support.Tools and equipment (MacBook Pro, monitor, headphones).Flexible vacation policy and working hours.Comprehensive healthcare insurance for you and dependents (country dependent).Transport benefits and training opportunities; personal coaching from day one.Parental leave for permanent contracts.Important note: We hire people, not roles.
