We are seeking a responsible, energetic, and proactive Junior Controller based in Paris, France, who is eager to learn about financial management in a donor environment and support the Financial Controller of NIRAS France.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting month-end processes and coordinating accruals with the accounting team.Monitoring and following up on budgets (working hours, costs, expenses) and ensuring the quality of ongoing project accounting and budgeting.Managing practical financial aspects of projects: creating projects, posting expenses, controlling subcontractor invoices, invoicing clients according to their requirements, and providing financial overviews to partners.Preparing documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and invoicing clients appropriately.We are looking for candidates who:Have a Master’s degree or equivalent in economics, accounting, or finance, with some relevant experience or a strong willingness to learn.Understand or have documented experience with French GAAP and basic French VAT systems.Possess good analytical skills and an understanding of project economics and financial forecasting.Are organized, meticulous, proficient in ERP systems, and strong users of Excel.Are reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining productivity.Can work independently and in teams, establish new relationships easily, and operate effectively in a multicultural, international environment.Speak English and French fluently; additional languages are a plus.Must be eligible to work in France; we do not sponsor visas or transfers.What we offer:A diverse range of tasks in a dynamic, multicultural, and horizontal organization.Opportunities for operational and strategic development within the organization.Additional insurances for health, life, disability, and retirement contributions.We will conduct interviews on a rolling basis, so please apply as soon as possible, but no later than 31 May 2025.Interested in learning more?Contact Michelle Wong-Barroy, Financial Controller, at +33 601 77 69 87 to discuss your opportunities with us.Alternatively, you can apply directly through this page.We look forward to hearing from youAbout NIRASNIRAS is an international consulting firm operating in Building and Infrastructure, Process Industry, Utilities, Environment and Nature, Climate, Energy, Planning, and Development.
