Group Invest & Asset‑Liability Management (GIA) Department Within the Group, you will join the Group Investment & Asset‑Liability Management (“GIA”) department. GIA consolidates local investment decisions, leverages group expertise, and steers investment ideas. The team works with AXA’s worldwide investment teams and top‑tier managers, overseeing EUR600 bn of Assets Under Management across four teams of c. 50 professionals under the Group CIO. Group ALM & Investment Monitoring Team The mission of this team is to lead ALM studies, optimize return on capital, steer balance‑sheet positioning, plan and monitor investments, and coordinate investment income. The team liaises with local investment teams, leads two expertise centers and steering committees, ensuring disciplined portfolio management and clear reporting. Role and Responsibilities Produce real‑world scenarios for ALM analyses, including calibration of models and generation of scenarios for all AXA entities using ESG software from Barrie&Hibbert/Moody’s Analytics across asset classes and horizons. Improve scenario production processes and maintain documentation. Present and complete the ALM Long‑Term Economic Assumption to the ALM community. Support senior investment monitoring analysts in following transactions across entities by asset class and strategy, building a realized investment view at the group level. Ensure quality delivery of operating units and maintain control, analysis, and reconciliation. Your Profile Background Financial or actuarial background and strong IT skills (master 2 in quantitative finance, actuarial diploma, or an IT‑oriented engineering curriculum). Technical Skills Knowledge of finance, investments, and ALM concepts. Strong knowledge and appetite for IT tools and programming languages (R, Python, VBA, SQL). Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Bloomberg Terminal is a plus. Soft Skills Team spirit and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across the group, entities, and asset managers. Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral & written) with the ability to distil complex information. Strong organizational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
