Lead Tech – Analog and Mixed-Signal

Quobly, a deep tech company based in the Grenoble area, is developing a new generation of silicon-based quantum microprocessors. To support our ambition, we are looking for a Lead Tech – Analog and Mixed-Signal (AMS) IC Design.As tech Lead, you are the guardian of the technical architecture and performance of integrated circuits (ICs). You drive technological choices and oversee the entire implementation process, from initial specifications to GDSII (tape-out). You ensure design robustness against Process, Voltage, and Temperature (PVT) variations in a specific cryotemperature environment. You are also responsible for managing the team, subcontractors, and service providersYou define the architecture for critical blocks (ADC/DAC, PLL, PMU, filters, amplifiers, Mux, control …) and translate system requirements into circuit-level specifications.You supervise transistor-level design, corner simulations, noise analysis, and mismatch analysis. A specific point of our designs is the very low operating temperature (100mK to 4 K)You lead layout engineers on matching issues, parasitic coupling, and signal integrity.You define verification plans for operation at the interface between the analog and digital domains.You collaborate with test teams to characterize chips in the lab and analyze measurements and tests.You evaluate new architecture and operating temperature partitioning and protect innovations through patent filing.You manage and develop the skills of a junior team.You assess the efficiency of each stage, from design to manufacturing, and make any necessary improvements.You act as the interface between Quobly and its partners.Collaborate with talented people, in a culture of transparency and autonomy.Work hand in hand with members of our technical teams.Your profile:You have a Master’s Degree in Microelectronics or PhD in a related field.You have significant experience and several proven accomplishments in this sectormanagerial experience required to succed in this positionFluent tecnical English necessaryWorking at Quobly also means:Working in Grenoble, home to some of the fastest-moving tech and industrial companies around, and a great base camp for a wide range of activities from outdoor and mountain sports to arts and culture.Grenoble offers an affordable lifestyle, ensuring you can plan for a comfortable future while advancing your career with us.The opportunity to develop in-demand skills alongside the best researchers in their fields.A collaborative work environment and a company culture where trust is paramount and where individual contributions are recognized.Presenting at international conferences to share our latest results.Work-life balance, with a standard package of 213 workdays per year.Work from home up to four days per week, depending on the position.With offices close to city center, you have the possibility to live in a 15-minute city.Employer contribution to public transportation passes and human-powered mobility solutions.To learn more about Quobly: https://quobly.io/ #J-18808-Ljbffr
