We reimagine the possible across the nuclear industry every day.About the roleReporting to the Long-Term Operations – Engineered Solutions – EMEA Project Management Portfolio leader, you will be responsible for all project cost controls activities for moderate complexity projects, a portfolio of low complexity projects, or for a subset of high complexity projects or programs scope (i.e. work package).As an individual contributor, you will monitor and control costs within defined standards and consistent practices and work with project teams on the compilation, assessment and documentation of project costs.This position is hybrid and based in France (Villejust).Main ResponsibilitiesInitiate and plan all cost controls aspects of a project, which includes, but is not limited to project baselines and risk registers. Apply tools and techniques to plan work such that inefficiencies are reduced and overall project performance is optimized. Apply cost or risk analytics to confirm validity of plan.Responsible for the cost monitoring, tracking and cost control work for all ES-EMEA projects.Support forecast estimation and verifies the accuracy of the actual to date cost (material, labor, manufactured costs, suppliers’ invoices, timesheets, travel expenses.)Ensure costs and schedule are aligned, providing time phased cost forecasts.Analyze internal costs to identify trends in cost forecasts.Present all financial data in a transparent way; attend project and management review to present cost status, budget deviations and root causes.Promote teamwork and, which includes maintenance and distribution of project metrics to ensure team, customer, and all team members are kept informed of project statusBe a point of contact for internal and external customers in support of the successful project execution through completion. Integrate project’s goals and actions through participation with other project groups in matters of common concern.QualificationsBachelor’s degree. Applicable disciplines are Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related technical discipline.Minimum 10 years of project cost controls experience in the nuclear industry, oil & gas or in EPC projectsSome experience in other project controls areas such as scheduling, risk management, and change control would be beneficialKnowledge of project reporting, cost control and engineering controls, previous experience working with different business systems and tools (i.e. SAP, MSP and Excel)Why Westinghouse?We know that to put forth your best effort, you need to be challenged and enjoy what you do in a supportive and respectful environment.
