We believe you can gain applicable skills through a variety of life experiences and we want to know them too.Location: Flexible location: Work remotely from anywhere in France or Spain.About the roleYour mission will be to contribute to the whole development process, from system design to delivery and monitoring.The HR Suite team has a large scope of 3 domains core to a HRIS product:Document management and generation: AI-powered template generation to document lifecycle management, remaining compliant. It handles over 50 million documents and is a critical service to PayFit, requiring a strong SLO.Performance & Engagement: provides services for talent management such as 1:1s, performance reviews, peer feedback, and more.Org Chart: integrates with permissions, employee management, time & absence requests, and coordinates the full PayFit experience across product and architecture challenges.What we look forYou are an Engineer with 5+ years of experience.You have hands-on experience with Domain-Driven Design and Event-Driven Architecture. You are able to help the team transition towards the architectural vision.You are comfortable with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, SQS, SNS, IAM).You are comfortable with Infrastructure as Code and deploying different kinds of projects.You can write RFCs, discuss them, and reach conclusions.You are a Problem Solver: pragmatic, product-driven, and able to balance business and technical tradeoffs.You are a Team Player: good communication, comfortable in a partially remote team, able to work with non-technical colleagues.Best Practices and Standards: organized and rigorous, following code quality, clean architecture, testing, monitoring, code reviews, and CI/CD; you use AI to accelerate impact.You are fluent in English.It would be great if you also have an Impact Maker mindset: creative, passionate about building things, and motivated to help build an innovative product used by thousands of users.What we offerFlexibility: option to work away from main offices within France/UK/Spain, or abroad for a defined period.
