Experienced AI Solution Architect

This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated AI Solution Architect to support our HPE EMEA sales team. The main focus is Artificial Intelligence for customers in both commercial and public sectors.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

  • Meet AI customers, understand their needs, and discuss their projects.
  • Position yourself as a trusted advisor to AI and HPC AI customers.
  • Design winning solutions that fulfill customer requirements.
  • Participate in deep-dive discussions, articulate HPE value proposition, and successfully demonstrate benefits of the proposed solution in addressing and resolving customer business challenges.
  • Write technical proposals that highlight HPE offerings and customer outcomes.
  • Work in close relationship with sales team, product development, and manufacturing to optimize solutions technically and financially.
  • Support customer meetings through presentations of HPE offerings and solutions highlighting HPE differentiation.
  • Provide feedback to R&D and Product Management teams.

Minimum education and/or experience:

  • BSEE or similar technical degree, master’s degree or Ph.D.
  • 5-10 years of experience in technology industry with a focus on AI and GPU solution selling.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Experience in AI and HPC business.
  • Experience in a Presales position.
  • AI and GPU based HPC architecture and software solution design required.
  • Ability to understand and influence customer demands, analyze, and present how HPE systems can address the needs.
  • Good written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Fluent use (written & spoken) of English.
  • This position involves travel and customer visits across the EMEA region.

  • Must be eligible to gain Security Clearance in the UK.
