Join to apply for the Global Initiative Project Manager F/M/X role at Mars Job Description To achieve its ambition to be the reference in pet health through nutrition, Royal Canin (a Mars brand) continues to push the boundaries of nutrition and individualisation. The newly created Enterprise Strategy Operationalization (ESO) Team will orchestrate the delivery of our strategy, bringing together S&OP+, Project/Program Management and Graphics into one dedicated team to drive cross‑functional ways of working. Within this strategy, Global Initiatives are a focus area. The Global Leadership Team selects specific critical interventions; this role coordinates projects to address identified pain points. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating these initiatives under the Productivity Program Board, and you may also lead and contribute to activities that support the Global Process & CoE objectives. What are we looking for? Higher education qualification or relevant experience Formal qualification in project management (preferable) Experience in stakeholder relationship building Functional experience in a demand/supply chain function or project/process management Structured ways of working High level of pro‑activeness and willingness to take responsibility Very good communication capability Fluency in English (written & spoken) Good knowledge of MS 365 tools Key responsibilities Project governance and standards: establish and enforce governance frameworks, project management standards and best practices across functions, ensuring consistent processes, compliance and quality across global/regional teams. Cross‑functional coordination and alignment: act as the central point of coordination, align different functional areas, manage inter‑dependencies and promote collaboration to meet program and project goals. Projects / program synergies: identify synergies between these projects and others to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Stakeholder engagement and communication: communicate with stakeholders, provide regular updates, facilitate change management and align expectations. Risk management: proactively identify and manage risks, establish contingency plans. Performance tracking and continuous improvement: monitor program progress via KPIs and milestone tracking, produce reports for decision‑making and capture lessons learned.
