With the ability to tackle day-to-day copy needs with little supervision, you should be able to carry an account if necessary and have strong, yet scientifically sound, creative writing. In addition, you should develop positive relationships with team members and clients. Ideally, you will be able to comfortably write on the more medical projects as well as the promotional ones – and across different HCP audiences as well as patients and consumers.Your missions, if you accept this challenge.ResponsibilitiesIn depth analysis of peer-reviewed scientific publications to help develop medical-strategic recommendations and communication materials for Global and regional Europe clients.Write and develop medical and scientific communication tools for print and digital media (HCP sales aids and brochures, websites, patient leaflets, slide decks for sales reps or for KOL webinars, videos, etc.) (promotional, non-promotional and medical education).Maintain consistency of message/strategy by writing headlines, subheads and body copy; work with an art director to ensure work is visually and scientifically relevant; suggest ways for the Art Director to graphically present the data.Work occasionally closely with the creative team to generate powerful ideas – conceptually, tactically and strategically at times.Ensure scientific accuracy and quality of documents as well as their regulatory compliance.Develop discussion guides to interview experts, healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders.Attend client meetings and presentations where work is discussed, and be able to speak to the work.Work with the client to explore and incorporate suggestions and directives, resolving questions, concerns and overcoming objections.Attend medical/legal/regulatory committee reviews (depending on client) and defend and support copy choices when challenged.Participate in generating background research, when required, for new clients or new business.Support other accounts and writers where needed and when time allows.QualificationsEducational background: Advanced degree (MS or PhD) with a background in biology, pharmacy or medicine. A marketing and communication specialization is appreciated.Preferred 4-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical advertising in writing.SkillsEnglish: native or fluent level mandatory.French: intermediate level preferred.Must be able to write copy in English that is concise, clear, referenceable and creative; displays good sentence structure; shows logical flow; is grammatically correct and free of spelling errors.Good attention to detail: copy checked by editorial should be left largely unmodified.Contribute conceptually to the agency, in addition to writing both light and technical pieces.Exhibits willingness and open-minded attitude toward copy critique and effectively incorporates suggestions and improvements to copy.Good command of referencing and footnoting.Forge relationships and work well with agency members as well as the client.Demonstrate knowledge of agency, copy and editorial processes.Produce accurate and timely work with limited supervision.Good presentation skills.Demonstrate creative thinking and problem solving to meet clients\' needs.About the role and applyingWould you like to take part in this new challenge?Join our team by applying now with your CV on this ad.Come and enjoy a unique experience with us.Our expansive network brings together talent from across the globe to best serve our clients’ needs.
