What's in it for you We’re hiring a hands‑on Engineering Manager to lead the development of a new In‑store payment solution. You’ll spend more or less 50% of your time close to the code, writing, reviewing, mentoring, improving CI/CD, and shaping architecture. You’ll define the technical roadmap, drive scalable delivery, and foster a collaborative, high‑performing team. About the team You’ll be part of a fully remote Pan‑European Product and Engineering team that operates in an Agile environment. Your team is cross‑functional, with experts in Product Design, iOS development, Android development and backend engineering. They are located across Europe, in Germany, France, the Netherlands, Poland, and other countries. Spend around 50% of your time actively coding, making informed technical decisions, identifying risks early, and ensuring scalable, high‑quality solutions using modern engineering practices Define and own the product’s problem space, vision, and KPIs. Shape the technical roadmap in close partnership with senior leadership, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to boost team productivity, code quality, and delivery speed Foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture. Mentor and coach team members, support their career development, and contribute to recruiting and retaining top talent Act as a key liaison between engineering and other departments.
