The Revenue Accountant role at Canonical is a key position in our finance team as we prepare for a public market listing. This role may be office‑based in London or remote within EMEA time zones. Responsibilities Assist in the month‑end reporting process to deliver timely and accurate information. Manage a portion of the revenue recognition process and ensure alignment with IFRS 15/ASC 606. Assist with the year‑end audit process and statutory reporting. Support the finance team’s IPO preparation initiatives. Improve financial process efficiency, monitor compliance, and maintain process documentation. Share knowledge with teammates to ensure coverage and continuity. Continuously develop personal knowledge of applicable standards and regulations. Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders outside finance. Qualifications Exceptional academic record and career performance. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, ACMA, CPA, etc.). Experience with IFRS 15/ASC 606 revenue recognition. Background with a large public accounting firm or multinational corporate finance department preferred. Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting systems a plus. Willingness to travel up to four times per year.
