Hotel Manager (H/F) – Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Overview We are seeking an experienced Hotel Manager (H/F) to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest service and adherence to Four Seasons standards. Position based in Paris; work permit per French legislation; fluent French and English required. Responsibilities Lead and manage the daily operations of the hotel and supervise key department heads (Rooms, Food & Beverage, Security). Attend and participate in Executive Committee meetings and events; meet regularly with all Department Heads and employees. Monitor and analyze revenue, labor, and gross operating profit data; take appropriate action to optimize performance. Oversee facility upkeep, service standards, staff attitude and appearance; implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure compliance with hotel standards and regulatory requirements; manage capital expenditures and project timelines. Conduct performance evaluations and mentor operational leaders; support staff development and recruitment. Organize weekly operations meetings to address challenges, opportunities, and maintain effective communication. Manage purchasing processes, approvals, and supplier relations; participate in related governance and controls. Represent the hotel with guests, owners, the local community, and authorities; promote the hotel’s image and values. Ensure safety and security for guests and employees; respond to emergencies and follow local codes and ordinances. Oversee preventive maintenance and facilities management; supervise essential functions and operations. Coordinate forecasts with Sales, Food & Beverage, Rooms, and Technical Service; assist with budgeting and financial performance. Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned by the General Manager or Four Seasons Home Office. Prerequisites Education: Degree in Hotel Management. Experience: 5 to 10 years in hotel operations and/or management. Languages: Fluent in French and English. Computer Skills: Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Outlook; able to learn new tools. Physical Requirements: Ability to remain seated or stand/walk for extended periods; fast-paced environment. Skills & Attributes: Flexibility, adaptability, ability to work under pressure; strong memory and presentable appearance.
